Afraid my posting might be a bit thin on photos though - lugging the camera everywhere is not desirable, think we have to invest in a small snapper that can fit into my handbag as my birthday present this year.
HOMESCHOOLING STUFF
We had a homeschool outing at the Traffic School in Morwell, it was raining - but we made a commitment to be there so that the lady who organised it would not be out of pocket, so we went!

Gian and K's 3rd youngest. K brought extra bikes for Gian and Mieke to use so that they could also join in the fun.
Afterwards we went to visit K at home (I met K at the Old Gippstown homeschooling outing), and we have since become very very good friends. They have 6 kids aged between 7 and 17, and she also homeschools.
Sometime after that I went along to the group's "mom's night out" evening that was planned for year-end. That was a very enjoyable evening, and I ended up getting home just before midnight. We went to the Tequila Amiga Restaurant in Traralgon, and it was such a pleasure to drive home on the freeway in the middle of the night without even a thought of hijackings or the possibility of some undesirable character waiting for me around a dark corner when I get home!
OUR BIKES
Well, we decided to buy ourselves bicycles for christmas, as that was also what the kids were getting. The pre-Christmas specials helped quite a bit, and we managed to get all our bikes bought by the 15th. Needless to say, they were presents, so nobody was allowed to ride the new bikes until Christmas Day! So there they were - parked next to each other in our lounge, so at least the lounge wasn't completely empty anymore :-).

Our permanent residence visa trip to NZ!!!
